In the heart of Tumon Bay, Hyatt Regency Guam towers over its shimmering beachfront property. There, the four-star dining experience of Al Dente Ristorante resides, alive with the sounds of conversing patrons, clinking tableware and hard-working staff.
There, in gilded luxury, Frank “The Crank” Camacho brought his beloved little family to enjoy what he describes as their “last supper” before he begins his Fight Camp training in Irvin, California, in a personal video journal created through his official youtube channel: @fbcamacho. These moments are aptly entitled the final days, the days leading up to Camacho’s journey to victory, as he crosses the world to train diligently with Colin “The Man Who Trained The World” Oyama and Team Oyama.
Frank Camacho’s journey always begins, and ends, with family.
Hosted by the Head Chef Al Dente, Chef Christiano, Camacho enjoyed an exquisite meal with his wife, Sarah Filush-Camacho, and their sons: Franklin and Rocky Camacho. Strolling through the gleaming halls of Guam’s Hyatt Regency Hotel, they encountered exotic birds, beautiful architecture, and a relaxing ambiance. This precious moment was prompted by Frank Camacho’s demanding career as a UFC Athlete, taking him away from family, home, and the Marianas in order to prepare for what will be an exceptional bout for UFC Fight Night at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.
Before the man they loved left to work, as is often the nature of beloved fathers, Camacho’s family spent quality time together, which included fine dining with Al Dente’s Family Hour and a particularly talented tableware concert performed by Camacho’s sons.
With the sun glittering through crystal-clear panoramic windows, “The Crank” family had what was their last meal truly together, until Frank Camacho returns from his training and subsequent triumph over Beneil Dariush in October 26, 2019.
