On June 1st, 2019, Frank “The Crank” Camacho began this summer with a powerful victory. That night, in Stockholm, Sweden, Frank faced off against fellow UFC Athlete Nick Hein for UFC: Fight Night 153—– defeating his opponent in under ten minutes, just ten seconds before the end of the second round.
It was a stupendous win for Frank, after training diligently with Team Oyama and head coach Colin Oyama in Irvin, California. After enduring a barrage of Frank’s punches, Nick Hein collapsed under the protective arm of the intervening referee, confirming Frank’s well-deserved win by TKO.
As the crowd cheered and applauded, and the commentators announced his victory in awe, Frank raised his arms, blood on his face, a bruise forming in his left eye—- but he won, and he did it flawlessly.
Following this TKO win, Frank quickly used this opportunity to, once again, give back to his community—- alongside his wife, award-winning filmmaker and former beauty queen Sarah Filush-Camacho, who worked closely with Hunterspeaks Autism Organization to spread Autism Awareness on the island of Guam through her film: Blue Island.
Wanting to continue this movement, Frank offered to donate his fight kit for UFC: Fight Night 153 to one lucky winner of this exclusive raffle, where tickets could be purchased at any Circle K location on Guam.
“One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Hunterspeaks Guam Organization,” He explains in a video journal on his official youtube channel, “Every dollar donated will help build a stronger community for those affected by autism.”
The raffle began on June 11, and ended on June 18; after this successful non-profit effort for Hunterspeaks Guam, a winner was chosen!
Frank announced the winner on his instagram, @frankthecrank: Congratulations Scott Aflague for winning my #UFCSTOCKHOLM Fight Kit! Thank you @76circlekguam for allowing me to raffle off my UFC fight kit w/ the proceeds going to @hunterspeaksorg Autism Organization.💪🏼💪🏼 More to come… in the meantime, keep CRANKIN IT UP!
